More Lithuanian than just the 3 Bs

The Howes family enjoys all the four Bs Lithuania is known for abroad -- bread, beer, basketball and, as Jonas Howes Junior jokes, blonds. But for Izabelle Laučkaite-Howes, her husband John, daughter Deanna and son Jonas Junior, being Lithuanian is more. Three generations of this family had been born in the United States, yet, their Lithuanian heritage is much stronger than many of those Lithuanians back at home. A prayer, conversations in Lithuanian language the family is determined to continue learning and little treats of the Lithuanian food are what helps Izabelle Laučkaite, Deanna and Jonas Junior to fulfill the will of a father and a grandfather -- to keep the Lithuanian heritage and the Catholic faith alive.
