For Railroad Fans Jenbach is a must to see because Jenbach has three different railroad gauges. Jenbach has normal standard gauge, narrow gauge and narrow rack gauge. Two famous Austrian railroad lines start in Jenbach, the Zillertal Railroad and the Achensee Rack Railroad. The Achensee rack line takes you all the way to the top of the mountain to the Achensee Lake. The locomotives that hauled our train are 123 years old and they are still running. This was one of the best train rides, I have ever been on and I highly recommend it to every rail fan. Even if your not a rail fan, this is a very scenic part of Austria.
