People over 50 in the labour market in the Czech republic
The video, created by the organization Alternativa 50+, focuses on the position of older people in the labour market. You will learn what issues people over 50 and informal caretakers encounter, what problems they have to deal with, and what options they have in their situation. These difficulties can be helped by Alternativa 50+'s social, legal and psychological counselling activities. The video introduces Kateřina Machovcová, an experienced psychologist, the organization's counselling expert for people who lost their jobs or who have encountered other obstacles in the labour market. Two long-term volunteers, Ivana Šťovíčková and Taťjána Fragnerová, experienced in dealing with both unemployment and taking care of relatives in need, are introduced next.
