Waypoint: Alaska Being a missionary in Alaska is tough. It's one of the hardest places to minister in the world. Travel to native villages may only be accessible by boating on the river, or flying in by small bush plane. Follow the adventurous life of Rob Graham and Sam Kimmel as they fight the elements of Alaska to share the gospel. Ministry in Alaska is like no other. Native culture has been hurt and struck by the American culture that moved in so quickly. Native languages and culture are dying. When Alaska became a US state in 1959 there were 20 native languages. One of those is now extinct today and many other endangered for extinction in the coming years. Rob and Sam began Last Frontier Ministries (LFM) in 2008 with the heart for these native villages. Through their frequent visits to the interior villages of Alaska, LFM provides clothes, hats and diapers to families. While visiting, LFM will also host bible studies, church services, and other opportunities for discipleship. Waypoint: Alaska is an exciting new series that exposes the life of missionaries in Alaska, and the ruggedness of this lifestyle. www.waypointalaska.com
