The Vlog where Beautifully Travelled heads to Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire for a oh-so-british countryside walk through the fields and along the canals. Featuring Market Harborough, Welford, the Jurassic Way and the Welford Arm Canal. _________________ MARKET HARBOROUGH A small Market Town in Leicestershire. It has a population of approximately 23 000 and is most famed for it's old grammar school, a small timber building dating back to 1614. WELFORD Is a tiny village in Northamptonshire. It is served by a small arm of the Grand Union Canal and is a potential resting place on the Jurassic Way Long Distance footpath. JURASSIC WAY Is a designated Long Distance Footpath that connects Oxfordshire to Banbury. It follows the Jurassic Limestone Ridge (hence the name) and is 142km long. WELFORD ARM Is an arm of the Grand Union Canal. Part of the British Canal System, the Grand Union Canal is 220km long, has 166 locks and connects London to Birmingham. _________________ BEAUTIFULLY TRAVELLED A Life beautifully Travelled was created in January 2015.
