Southwold Lighthouse

submitted by uklmhb on 03/04/16 1

The 1889 built Southwold lighthouse on the east coast of England. The lantern from this light is rumoured to come from the now extinct Happisburgh Low light (see www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_rkPQAZVTg). The light guides vessels into Southwold Harbour. Southwold lighthouse is open to the public but gets very busy. More info on opening at www.trinityhouse.co.uk/events_and_leisure/visitor_centres/southwold.html and www.trinityhouse.co.uk/interactive/gallery/southwold.html
