A new hoard of 159 roman solidi (gold coins) was found in St Albans, Hertfordshire (England) in october 2012 by a novice metal detectorist... The hoard was buried at the end of the 4th century. It contains coins of the following roman Emperors : * Gratian * Valentinian * Théodosius * Arcadius * Honorius At that time the Western Roman Empire was disappearing under the blows of the barbarians.
