This short video was taken during a memorable dive in the Eastern Isles, Isles of Scilly, July 2013. It's said that seals have a bite 4 times more powerful than that of a Rottweiler, yet this young seal was incredibly gentle, and playful and spent around 30 minutes interacting with us, nibbling fins, gloves and computer wrist straps. This particular character is quite distinctive as he has a large circular scar behind his left ear about 2 inches in diameter. The video was shot with a Nikon P7100 in a Fantasea FP7100 housing in a depth of about 4 metres using natural light.
