Just on the outskirts of the main part of the town in Brixham is Shoalstone Pool. This historic sea water pool is operated by volunteers who work tirelessly to re-claim the pool from the ravages inflicted upon it by the wild winter storms and huge seas. It is one of only a few remaining sea water pools in this country and is located in an idyllic spot in Brixham, Devon. Funds are urgently needed to ensure the pool remains open. The pool holds many memories for the families that have enjoyed days there, whilst on holiday here in South Devon. It would be a tragedy to see it disappear, so please support this worthy cause. The pool is closed for Winter, but will re-open again for the holiday season in 2013
