This is a short video about Anglesey in North Wales. We have been coming here for years and it is a fantastic destination for families and those wanting to get away walking or just relaxing on a beach. There are lots of golden beaches, monuments, lifeboat centres, small fishing villages, rockpools and plenty of ice cream. Newborough Beach is a long expanse of beach lined by dunes and a forest with plenty of tracks to walk. Close by is an island, llanddwyn island, you can walk across (check the tide). We have been to Anglesey both in summer and winter and both are just as good. Great winter walks or great summer holidays on the beach or touring the many places. Many of which we have done time after time. Mainland North Wales is only across the Menai or Britannia Bridge which provides yet more places to discover. Local towns such as Bangor or the traditional seaside town of Llandudno is only a 30 minute drive away. Make Anglesey your next UK staycation !
