For The Love Of Jazz

submitted by Haggerston Times on 01/20/14 1

"For The Love Of Jazz" is a short film documenting the story of a jazz club in Dalston run by volunteers.

Jazz is often seen as an elitist, inaccessible art form, listened to by the foot tapping chattering classes in expensive clubs.

In a corner of London, a jazz club, run by volunteers is not only helping change that perception, but is also regarded as one of the most important clubs on the circuit. This short film documents the spirit and love of jazz in London.

Shortlisted for The Smalls This London Short film competition.
