SXSW 2012 INTERACTIVE AWARD WINNER FOR FILM & TV

The Goa Hippy Tribe project is about people who shared a common space and time on the shores of Goa, India during the 70's 'hippy revolution' and are now re-uniting after more than 30 years via Facebook.

Filmmaker Darius Devas, who spent his early years living on the beaches of Goa, traveled back to document this unique re-union of an old community. The video interviews were posted to the Goa Hippy Tribe Facebook page creating a unique full circle link to the story. The project was Funded by SBS television, Screen Australia, Screen NSW and was a co production between Freehand Productions, Being Films and Dubz TV.
