Carrie won a $200 grant from WeAreTeachers and LeapFrog School for her idea on how to inspire students to read over the summer. Carrie's school hosted a summer reading program, that included story time, computer activities, and weekly prize drawings for free books. The grant money was used to purchase materials that would be needed for the program.
