Oman is the second largest nesting site in the world for Loggerhead turtles. The Loggerhead subspecies found nesting in the North Western Indian Ocean are declared by the IUCN as critically endangered as studies showed 80% reduction within three generations. Environmental Society of Oman has kicked off a campaign to spread awareness on Loggerheads and what we can do to protect them. Lakshmi Kothaneth speaks to Dana Sarhani.
