In case you dont know (which you won't), i made a video yesterday of me reacting to the fine bros announcement of React World, a new scheme devised by YouTube 'stars' the Fine Bros, and explaining how it basically spells the end of all humanity. Well probably not quite the end of all known humanity but its certainly a step towards the end. 'New and Innovative way to produce content in partnership' This is in no way a new way to produce content in partnership. Machinima did the exact same thing, and it worked for a while, until Content Creators started to get fucked in the ass. Content Creators have been ass fucked by their Networks since day one, the only difference 'React World' has is that it is no longer Gaming Channels that are taking the corporate ass fuckery, they've moved on to Reaction Channels. But dw the Fine Bros have a gaming show as well so were still being put down. 2. 'We believe in the power of the creative community so much that we are opening up access to all of our shows to the world, and want anyone, anywhere and in any language, to take them and make them their own.' So much for believing in the power of the community for immediately hitting my initial reaction video with a copyright strike about an hour after uploading it. If your truly 'opening up your shows to the world', you can't expect to not receive criticism. You specifically asked people to take your shows and make them your own, which is exactly what i've done. Just because my channel doesnt get views doesnt mean it is not a YouTube channel, and you have no right to take down my opinion before its even had a chance to be heard - thats just not right. Admittedly I went a bit OTT, but a video on a channel with 10 subs was not expected to go anywhere anyway, and I wasn't exactly promoting it. How can people feel that they can make their own spin on your shows when you took down my frankly harmless attempt at doing so? 3. 'Since creating React in 2010, we at FBE have aimed for our shows to be a time capsule for future generations to look back on to understand what their parents, grandparents, or ancestors were thinking and doing during this incredible time.' A valid point well raised, and I would wholeheartedly support you if i believed that your content was worthy of being preserved in a Time Capsule fashion. I have enjoyed Fine Brothers content in the past, but you surely cannot agree that 'Teens React to Cheerios Commercial' is worthy of being preserved through generations? Yet you want to encourage people to fill YouTube with endless nothing reactions to meaningless videos? At least with these people under the Fine Bros brand their awful video will at least look professional, and what do you care? Views or no Views you get a cut of the profits anyway. Your'e just looking to stumble upon someone unfortunate enough to sign up to React world, have their reactions go viral and reap the profits for yourself, essentially robbing the poor fucker, who was essentially stealing other peoples content anyway? I think its fucking disgusting. 4. 'By opening up the various FBE shows to everyone all around the world, we hope to grease the wheels for us to understand the world better, to shine a light on topics and issues both large and small, and to learn and appreciate each other more.' A lovely thought, but the viral videos your underlings 'react' in question cannot be said to be 'shining light' on anything remotely meaningful. I mean who thinks making the elderly watch 'Deez Nutz' vines compilations provide any insight into anything other than laughing at the potentially disabled? I'm so glad you decided to preserve that.
