Just another single heat from a race day. This series we're using "4 crashes and out" with 3 poker chips. Turn in a chip for each out. When you're out of chips, the next time you come out, you're out of the race. You'll see a couple racers get knocked out of the race in this heat. These cars are Scalextric crash resistant GT cars. On the grid are two Audi R8, one Corvette, one Lamborghini, one Jaguar, and one Ferrari. We're using SSD Console v4 to manage the race. When a driver comes off, they must remember to press the brake button on their controller to track call. Two seconds later, all cars stop so that crashers can be put back on (after they turn in a chip). This track has THREE "racing line curved lane changers" in it. These are special "chicane" lane changers made by cutting two normal curved lane changers and putting the pieces back together in the right way to make the racing line. Each one requires two lane changers, and the offcut pieces are more or less worthless. They are absolutely worth making, though, as they present a smoother line through the turn, which really gives an advantage to the car that remembers to take the racing line.
