Libby Center slot car track inspires ingenuity, fun

Libby Center students this year had the chance to learn about aerodynamics, electronics, and good old-fashioned fun by racing slot cars during their lunch period. Libby teachers Jake Lemmon and Kent Meredith assembled the track for an exploratory class in the fall of 2014. Community donations then allowed them to open the track up to a lunchtime slot car club for students. Learn more about Libby Center at www.spokaneschools.org/libby
