The scientists at the Institute for Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics (fml) at Munich University of Technology are using the special MTM logistics building blocks when developing pick-by-vision and other processes and techniques to optimize processes in manual picking. Ludwig Meister GmbH & Co. KG is the cooperating partner for the university and provides its real warehouse stocks and order data. The positive experience with the MTM process language is the foundation for considering other processes at the logistics enterprise.
