Now based in Las Vegas as of September 2011, avant-garde electro / indie disco group Fans of Jimmy Century originated in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2007. After writing their newest song "Mr. Las Vegas," they followed the temptation to grow permanent roots in Vegas. The song captures the excitement and temptation of Las Vegas with a vintage 007 flair & seductive film noir style, all the while paying tribute to Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, and all of Las Vegas' legendary entertainers . What was originally supposed to be a music video for the song has now morphed into a full length movie directed by Billy Clift in which FOJC performs the title track & are featured actors in the film alongside top popular Las Vegas entertainers. The film will be shot in October 2012 near their residence in the vintage neighborhood of Paradise Palms using only entertainers, DJs, crew, and acting talent based in Las Vegas.
