Maximizing Stratasys Color 3D Printing With Adobe Photoshop CC

submitted by PrototipOrg on 01/07/16 1

Stratasys and Adobe have a shared vision to enable designers and engineers to push the boundaries of color 3D printing – helping them easily move their innovative graphics from 2D to 3D. In this exclusive demonstration of Photoshop CC filmed at the Stratasys booth at EuroMold 2014, Mike Scrutton, Senior Product Development Manager for Adobe, explains how the popular software can be used to seamlessly design and prepare files for a Stratasys 3D Printer. In this example, Mike uses an airplane model to demonstrate how to create smooth gradient colors and advanced textures. The colorful airplane model was actually produced on the Objet500 Connex3 Color Multi-material 3D Printer from Stratasys.
