If the Global Energy Crisis has to be resolved, we need to look at all possible scalable solutions. The needs of the hour are low-cost and high-impact innovations. And, that is exactly what Said Iqbal, a young Environmentalist from Bangladesh has come up with. In this opening talk at TEDxSecunderabad, Sajid shared his vision to bring light to the dark and congested slums of Bangladesh. His organisation, Change has pioneered the low-cost 'Solar Bottle Light' which illuminates low-income households through merely a bottle of water and generates energy equivalent to a 60 Watts bulb.
