Igloo Festival, the annual winter activity has finally arrived after months of preparation. The first night of celebration on January 17 was actually full of fun and excitement. Free-spirited raving people came over to join and revel the exhilarating evening in total abandon. This year's lineup included live performances from UK, French, Dutch, American, German, Russian and Canadian talents. With off the wall backdrop setting, the opening night delivered electronic party with Mistress Barbara, Wolf + Lamb and Richie G. With Mistress Barbara's hard beats that evolved from funky techno to groovy minimal tunes, people were all upbeat, dancing and drinking all night long. The entire event has grown over 4000 electronic music fans, all party rock across a time zone. Wild and amazing, the outdoor festivity was a unique party which brought ardour to the coldest nights. The performances from the best local and international DJs, were all fascinating. There was something electric in the air that made the chilly place more energetic to dance with sizzling breaks and beats. Reaching another level of victory, the whole event was a night of crowd apparition with intense passion in music creativity and avant-garde. Montreal is the first city to do this kind of winter wonderland party for three weekends in a round.
