Digital Dreams 2015 Recap | Love This City TV Imagine a two-day concert with your favorite EDM artists on three major stages. Imagine this concert with a waterfront view of Toronto in the background. Now stop imagining and buy your ticket to Digital Dreams 2015 before it’s too late! Bud Light Digital Dreams runs from June 27-28 and the festivities start at 2pm and run until 11pm. Grab your friends and join the crowd! It’s expected over 50,000 people will show up at the Flats at Ontario Place for Digital Dreams. That’s not surprising though, with headliners like Armin Van Buuren, Zedd and Carl Cox it will be surprising if tickets don’t sell out soon! Digital Dreams line up: On the 27th Carl Cox is set to rock Echo Beach. Porter Robinson is up for heating up the Bacardi Untamable Stage. Armin Van Buuren is blessing the Bud Light Dream Stage. Make sure you’re well rested and hydrated because come 2pm on the 28th the festivities happen all over again. You’ll be dancing with your besties with a drink in hand because Pete Tong is set to rock Echo Beach. Excision heats up the Bacardi Untamable Stage and Zedd sets foot on the Bud Light Dream Stage. Loyal fans have had trouble describing the movie like memorable festivities because it’s one of those things that you have to be there to describe. People flock from all over the world to witness one of EDM’s biggest events. There’s no wonder Digital Dreams was named 2013’s Party of the Year. Carl Cox is a notorious British House and techno DJ. He gained notoriety by performing at several clubs and served as the DJ for BBC Radio’s popular Essential Mix. He currently holds the title as the number one Techno House DJ by The DJ List. Pete Tong doesn’t just host one BBC Radio show but many shows and he’s known as the “Global Ambassador for Electronic Music.” When he’s not making waves at BBC Radio he’s hosting iHeartRadio’s “Evolution.” Amrin Van Buuren is a blessing to the EDM community. He’s been ranked the number one DJ by DJ Magazine’s fan poll every year but he currently holds spot number three on the list for the greatest DJs of 2014. He also has a Grammy nomination under his belt for his hit “This is What It Feels Like.” Porter Robinson is no stranger to number one singles. His debut album dropped last year and he was already named Artist of the Year by MTVu. Canadian DJ and producer Excision has been around since 2007 and when he approaches a stage, he gives it everything he has. Known for his Watts of Bass Tours and his annual “Shambhala” mix album, Excision isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Everyone knows Zedd. Even if you haven’t heard of EDM music, you’ve heard of him or his music. He’s known for producing hits like the Billboard 100 hits “Break Free” and how could you forget “Clarity?” He went on to win a Grammy for “Clarity.” These are just six headliners amongst dozens of acts that will perform on the three major stages (Echo Beach, Bacardi Triangle and Bud Light Dream). Digital Dreams is one hundred percent cashless so don’t forget to load your wristband for the day so you can pay for drinks and food. There will be lots of food and the festivities will go on rain or shine but we’re all hoping for plenty of sunshine. Make sure to stay hydrated and take lots of photos because remember, it doesn’t count if you didn’t take photos.
