It is also the opportunity to have a bonding session with your EDM family and friends and if you are looking for both. Them Electric Island Toronto was the answer. For a musical EDM journey, an event you would not forget and relax & chilled out scene. More about this Review and brand Ibiza is an island that comes to mind when you think of Electronic Dance Music -- but now Toronto has their own little EDM Island -- "Electric Island" (presented by Platform Ent., Footwork and Embrace Presents). The first event took place Victoria Day Weekend and it was a big success with music from Seth Troxler, Nitin, My Favorite Robot, Nathan Barato, Nature or Music, and Jonathan Rosa. July 1st brought a nice line-up to end the long weekend with. We had music bestowed upon us from Sasha, Guy Gerber, Audiofly, Jeff Button and Rafwat & Chorniy. The energy on that island was like no other -- we created our own musical paradise! Welsh DJ/producer Sasha absolutely blew everyone away with his euphoric track selection. Guy Gerber moved the crowd with his tech-house rhythms and his harmonic touch on the decks. European dynamic duo Audiofly brought their diverse psychedelic sound and delivered a note-worthy set. Of course we expected nothing but the best from Toronto's own Jeff Button as well as Rafwat & Chorniy and they delivered as always their best! A picnic, beautiful weather, great atmosphere with fellow music fanatics, and the music, oh, the euphonious music! If you have yet to go to this amazing event, some advice for things that are a must to bring are: blanket, suntan lotion, cash, and a flashlight.
