Fire Alarm System Test 1

submitted by phillandeng on 12/19/15 1

This is a test of my brand-new Edwards FireShield 3-zone fire alarm control panel. Peripherals include an Edwards 439D-10AWD 10-inch bell, a Wheelock MT4-24-LSM horn/strobe (used as a remote strobe), and a Simplex 4251-111 "Chevron" pull station. The audible circuit is set to Temporal (code 3) until silenced, and the visual circuit is set to steady until reset. There is a 3-minute automatic silence. I got this panel on Saturday off of Kijiji (a local classifieds site). The guy I got the panel from originally purchased it to install in his restaurant, but went with a Mircom panel instead. The FireShield Plus typically retails for $425-$450, and I purchased it for $100.
