Essential Eyeliner Techniques: Defined, Winged or Smoky

Sephora presents a step-by-step guide to mastering essential eyeliner techniques using Sephora Collection Pro Brushes. Click Show More for the steps. Prep: Define lash lines by gently lifting lids to expose roots and wiggling a brown eyeliner between upper and lower lashes. Shape liner into a smoky, defined, or winged effect - DEFINED: Trace cream or gel liner from the center of the lash lines to the outer corners using the PRO #26 Gel Liner Brush (seph.me/VvXQ8j). Drag the brush on its side to thicken the line. Repeat, this time connecting to inner corners. WINGED: Glide cream or gel eyeliner on at an angle, moving from the outer corners towards edges with the PRO #22 Angled Brush (seph.me/VajHQY). Complete the winged effect by connecting the tails to the center of the lash lines, forming a triangle. Fill with liner. SMOKY: Draw on eyeliner in short, controlled strokes along the upper lash lines. Blend edges to a short smolder with the PRO #24 Smoky Liner Brush (seph.me/10EygOS) - its bristles diffuse without lifting pigment. Shop all Sephora Collection Pro Brushes: seph.me/Sl7DQD
