submitted by lastminutebreaks on 12/03/15 1

This video is about the "famous" and specialist Tree Barn plantation in Christmas Common, The Chiltern Hills, Oxfordshire. Basically over 100 acres of Christmas trees in Christmas Common! The owner Andrew Ingram planted his first Christmas tree on the farm in 1971, now there are 105 acres of various species but mainly Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce with some Serbian Spruce, Korean Fir and Cork Bark Fir (that has won awards!) The trees range in size on the plantation from 20cm - 12 metres and 2 - 30 years of age. For the last few years The Tree Barn has supplied the Christmas tree for 10 Downing Street.
