Modah/Modeh Ani Every morning when I awake I thank God for another day. This is the meaning of the blessing Modah/Modeh Ani. We are thanking God for a new day, another day and for restoring our souls. One of the classes I am taking at the Conservative Yeshiva this semester is about the practical aspects of Jewish law in our daily lives. One of our assignments a few weeks was to think and reflect on the morning blessings. I focused on Modah Ani and came up with this chant/song/prayer.
