Control Systems Interface - Alarm Behaviours

submitted by fighterfish on 11/05/15 1

This is an example of what it might look like to give objects in control system software (for the process industry) to ability to have behaviors. In this instance when there is an alarm that goes off within the factory the actual icon representation of the machine reacts (by shaking) so that the operator clearly sees visually which machine is affected. The operator also has the ability to scrub back and forth through time to discern if there is a problematic machine that has given many alarms to help with maintenance scheduling. This was coded in Flash.
