submitted by lastminutebreaks on 11/02/15 1

Cyclone Freda is now a strong cyclone with winds near 100kts sustained at the center of circulation. This storm is now over water though and the saving grace for New Caledonia is some dry influence working to weaken Freda in the coming days. Still heavy rain showers and a storm surge can be expected across the Northern Portion of island, although the capitol of Noumea should remain clear of any surge. Still expect heavy rain showers in the second half of the coming week. At the same another storm looms off the Australian west coast. This storm is also weakening but will still bring cloud cover and light showers across the region. Lastly we touch in on whats going on across the NW Pacific today. You can help those impacted by Bopha.
