EVIDENCE: The fate of an Okinawan Internee from New Caledonia is a photographic exhibition inspired by series of letters artist Mutsumi Tsuda found in Okinawa, written from Lora in New Caledonia to her Japanese husband Denzo Higa and his friend who were interned in Australia during WWII. EVIDENCE: The fate of an Okinawan Internee from New Caledonia was part of Cowra Civlian Internment Arts Program in March 2014. Facilitated by Mayu Kanamori with Cowra Shire Council, Cowra Musical & Dramatic Society, Cowra Breakout Association and Nikkei Australia
