SST takes a brief look at the Dominion Arms (Canada Ammo house brand) Grizzly. This is the 8.5" magazine fed version. YES, IT IS LEGAL! As spokes-model Jessica explains, Can. firearms law states that you may NOT cut or alter a manually operated shotgun barrel to less than 18" HOWEVER, if the barrel is originally manufactured at less than 18", it is entirely legal. The overall length must remain at least 26" though. This firearm has been approved as NON-RESTRICTED, and has been issued Firearms Reference Table #128304-4 by the RCMP. This gun is based upon the legendary Remington 870 pump action shotgun. As it is NON-Restricted, it is suitable for taking on hikes in bear infested forests. It is also perfect for just having fun!
