Nice travel video of Kuopio, Finland. Kuopio is a city and a municipality located in the region of Northern Savonia of Finland. A population of Kuopio - about 111 000, it's the eighth biggest city in Finland. Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe bordered by Sweden to the west, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east. Description of the video of Hannu Hoffrén (the author of the video): The last Saturday of May 2009 was a beautiful day in Kuopio, Finland. My cousin gave me a hint that there's a cruising event starting in afternoon. We just got the new Sony PMW-EX1 at my workplace so this was a perfect change to get myself familiarized with the camera. However, I ended up using full auto mode most of the time. :) A very nice camera, especially since the files can be transferred easily to Linux system too. There are some image enhancing effects in the video. Also, some quick stabilizations (didn't bring the stand with me) were done with Deshaker plugin for VirtualDub via VirtualBox Win XP. Effects & edit in Blender under Kubuntu 8.04.
