I visited the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. I just wanted to see the place - I was not going to fly anywhere. I am not used to flying - I have never done any holiday travel by airplane. And I have never travelled from this airport. -------- This is in practise the only international airport in Finland - and the only big airport. I practise if you want to fly somewhere from Finland/Helsinki or come here your journey will start here. It seems that check in etc. should be done by yourself, not much service. And I must say that I did not get idea how to travel by Finnair because there was no check-in. Ukrainan airlines and Turkish airlindes would have bee clear because they had check-in desks. I was also looking for the public observation platform which should be somewhere - I did not find it. I visited the airport not seeing any airplanes.
