www.aswetravel.com/brussels-belgium-travel-video/ Brussels, Belgium - Europe Train Challenge. Brussels, the city where all the important decisions about Europe are made, I expected boring seriousness and grey suits, not random street parties to appear out of nowhere. We’ve just arrived in Brussels. It’s a lovely day here. It’s really loud. We’ve come from Amsterdam. So, we’ll walk around and enjoy this wonderful City. It seems pretty lively, it’s cool. We’re walking down the streets, around the streets in Brussels, and we are looking for that Manneken Pis statue, a little boy peeing apparently. Okay, so, here we go. This is the most popular attraction in Brussels, and yea, it’s kind of funny I think ‘cause it’s such a small statue, and it has such a big reputation and it’s so popular. I knew it was going to be small but not that small. Let’s go and check out the Grand Place, apparently it’s absolutely beautiful. I think it’s around the corner. And this square is absolutely incredible. It’s called the Grand Place and, I don’t know. I was never really a guy for architecture. I didn’t really care about buildings or seeing those things, but walking in here for the first time last night, it was just, I was shocked. The detailed description of every single building is actually blowing me away. I’m actually really impressed. I’m not normally impressed about these kind of things so Sophia’s bought the original Belgian waffle. Normal waffle. I’ve got the extra tourist waffle. If you can see on there, it’s full of a lot of extra stuff. It’s kind of good for ya’. How does yours taste? It’s really good. Want to try? How do you eat this thing? Good? This is lunch today in Belgium. We’ve been going around like thirty different chocolate shops, and it’s just overwhelming. There are so many different chocolates you don’t know where to start or which one to choose. Yeah. It’s incredible but, sometimes you wish there was only one you could choose. It would make it so much easier. Maybe we should go to that one, or that one. I don’t know. Overwhelming. If you like fruit we have pineapple, banana, pistachio, lemon. Okay, why not pineapple I was thinking? Mint chocolate. Banana? Yes! Yum, should I have one right now? I’ll have a little bite. I’ll try this one. Wow. This is real chocolate. This is the real thing, huh? Yeah. Let’s taste a few of these then. Alright, show them first. That’s what it looks like. Looks so good. They’re so big as well. Yeah, you’re going to try it? I want to try that one. Is it good? Wow. That’s fresh. We’ve spent the day walking around Brussels, we done a lot of cool things, seen some cool buildings, and ate a lot of fresh Belgian chocolate so we’re exhausted, tired, full of chocolate. But there is this pub around the corner that claims to have over 2000 different varieties of beer. So we’re going to go check it out, relax, and end our wonderful day in Brussels. We’re in this bar that has over 2000 different varieties of beer, and we decided to pick what many tourists say tastes like spew. The Belgians here in Brussels, they love it. Tourists say it tastes like spew, so we had to buy it. What’s it called? Beer, whose only made in Brussels, not even Belgium, Brussels. So yea, it’s made only in Brussels, and there is no added sugar so apparently it tastes sour. Let’s just check it out. It’s not fizzy either. It tastes like there’s a lemon in there or something. I don’t know it’s just a bitter afterwards, really really sour. It is sour, I wouldn’t say it tastes like spew, it actually tastes pretty good I think. So we’re going to sit here, probably buy a few more beers that are not this one. It will be nice to try some of the 2000 they’ve got here. **** for the evening and we’ll see you next time in Luxembourg.
