Murray's Fly Shop Wasp Dry Fly - Designed by Harry Murray not to imitate the traditional "Wasps" we are familiar with stinging us but to imitate the "Wood dwelling Wasps" from the family of Symphata. These parasitic wasps are identified by laying their eggs and thus larvae in wood. These wasps are found in the mountain regions throughout the US and North America. Trout are opportunistic feeders in these streams and rivers and are very familiar with feeding on the wasp which accidentally find itself in the water. Great on heavily fished streams as it casts a different footprint on the water compared to traditional trout dry flies.
