Psalm 32 - Blest is he, who is forgiven - Sons of Korah (cover)

submitted by Deeper Rhythms on 10/15/15 1

This is a deeply inspirational song, especially around the spring holy day season realizing that Christ is our passover lamb and because of him, our sin is forgiven - but only after we recognize our own sins and repent of them and change who we are to what he is (through his help living in us). The story behind this song is David's denial of his sin with Bathsheba and the stress he was under until he acknowledged it and didn't hide it anymore from God. Then he was forgiven. We all go through this in life and must come to the same realization. David admonishes the listener to seek God and his forgiveness, while he may be found and God will protect you! This is recorded 1/2 step down from the album version (easier to sing for me). Sons of Korah: www.sonsofkorah.com Album: Redemption Songs (2000)
