Psalm 80 - Sons of Korah Cover

submitted by Deeper Rhythms on 10/15/15 1

This powerful Psalm is a request from the ancient tribe of Judah to be restored to God after they just witnessed all the Northern 10 tribes get carried off by the Assyrians and they were alone (and not much better than their brothers who'd just been taken into captivity). The climax of the song is the request for God to let his hand rest on the man at his right hand. While this was a reference to the entire nation of Israel being God's right hand among the nations of the Earth, it's clearly a Messianic reference to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior who having been raised up sits at the Father's right hand as our intercessor and High Priest. Awesome! Tuning is capo 3 of Flat Tuning (capo 2 of standard) played in Am7 with D & G. Very simple. Sorry that the mic covers the left hand. If anyone wants a tutorial video I can make one.
