ARROWS, I LOVE ROCK N ROLL, 1975

submitted by Dusan Stojanovic on 10/07/15 1

The Arrows do the a-side version of their classic song I Love Rock N Roll, which they wrote recorded and released in 1975. The song got the band their own ITV networked televison series, after they performed the song on producer Muriel Young's Manchester (England) based television show 45. The song proved ot have a magic that got the band their own weekly TV show, on producer Muriel Young's recommendation, and eventually the tune became an international rock anthem. It's a pity their label RAK records didn't believe in the song and the band as much as others in the music industry seemed to. I am posting this in 2009 and this 1975 Arrows song is still going strong!
