The passage will come from John 16:20-22, 32-33. Read the whole chapter this week if you have a chance. The 6th conversation we will look at this week revolves around Jesus letting his disciples know that they are about to experience a time of great trial and tribulation. He doesn't want them to be unaware and he doesn't want them to lose heart b/c their lives aren't turning out the way they hoped. So often it easy when we experience great trouble and distress to give up or give in. Jesus is telling them not to be surprised and not to lose heart that joy is on the other side of their sorrow.
