Mary Chapin Carpenter performs "I Take My Chances" live at the 29th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Universal Ampitheatre Orlando, FL May 3rd, 1994 Note: Notice how she changes the line "I flipped my channel back to CNN and then I lit another cigarette" to "I flipped my channel back to CNN and then I threw away my cigarette". The producers of the show probably had her change the lyrics for obvious reasons.
