If you're already in Hanoi, you might as well take a car or ride a motorbike to Duong Lam. This ancient village is home to hundreds of old houses dating back hundreds of years. You can even explore and visit a few of them. The village itself has vintage homes that reminded me of possibly traveling back in time. The green fields around that grows rice makes the village even more special. I highly recommend a visit to this place. You can walk around or rent a bicycle. There's even a restaurant nearby one of the entrances too.
