I haven't always embraced my natural hair because I grew up perming my hair- always thinking my natural hair was too tough, too hard, doesn't really grow, couldn't do much with it - couldn't style it. But then my hair became thin...my tough African Nigerian hair wasn't there anymore - it didn't break combs anymore. A nice thin comb can really go through my hair.
