Constantine The Great This is a historical movie about Emperor Constantine. The part of he movie that focuses on his personal life is pure fiction, but that is the case with many historical movies. However, the general historical aspects are true: throwing the Christians to the lions, Diocletian and Maximian abdicating the throne in 308, his mother Helena being a Christian, marrying Fausta... This is not Ben-Hur or Spartacus, but it is definitely one of the better sword-and-sandals! This is one of my favorite Roman movies and I don't understand it's so rare to find.
