How to use the Rowing Machine While Pregnant

submitted by Read More About it on 09/02/15 1

Olympic gold and silver medalist in rowing (USA W8+ 2008, 2004), Anna Cummins, shares how to keep with exercise while pregnant. Keep rowing with these tips: lower your foot stretchers, spread knees slightly when preparing to take you next stroke, be sure to focus on pressing with the legs first in order focus the workout to your legs (and consequently, your lungs!). Have fun and go at your own pace. Remember, just try to keep moving and not focus on your "score". Per the background noise of the childcare area... new mom's get ready for more of the same! Comes with the territory:) Thanks to Crossfit Bellevue for providing a great place to keep working towards gold medal health before, during and after pregnancy!
