Organized by Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) as part of the 3rd annual Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN) Sports Meet on 24-26 Dec 2010. MTUN consists of 4 technical universities in Malaysia namely, UNIMAP (Perlis), UTEM (Melaka), UTHM (Johor) and UMP (Pahang). UTHM Barracuda Paddlers Rowing Team won 6 golds, 6 silvers to bag the Overall Champion title with UTEM taking the rest of the 6 bronze medals in 6 categories. The rowing machine race mark the 1st time ever, a "rowing" sports is endorsed and populated in MTUN. It shows the interest of rowing sports among Malaysian universities students is growing more rapidly than before. It is exciting to see the students battle it out, workout their body and sprint for the finish line. Concept 2 Model E ergometer or so-called indoor rowing machine was used for the record.
