First hand impressions of the IDF's Micro Tavor, also known as the X95. This compact rifle has supplanted the TAR-21 Tavor and represents an evolution of the bullpup platform. I shot this particular model at the 2014 Bullpup Convention hosted in Kentucky. This was a select fire rifle made for law enforcement use. A semi-auto variant for civilian sale is not currently available. Visually, the front handguard and barrel are noticeably shorter on the X95. Mechanically, the charging handle and magazine release are much closer to the pistol grip. You can always learn more about what I'm shooting and what I'm up to on tv-presspass.com/
