Note: the bike is a Schwinn Active 10, I think the closest current model in price/quality is the Schwinn 130 (around $250): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D4LEFAS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00D4LEFAS&linkCode=as2&tag=tweepres-20&linkId=QX6VRZRTFVJMFLNX This video is about my VRATUS - my Virtual Ride Across the United States on my exercise bike. At the age of 37, I found myself 20 lbs heavier than I wanted to be, and decided to take a journey towards fitness - this is the story of the resulting ride. Yes, the video is a bit ridiculous, but hey, perhaps it will inspire you to take your own journey of fitness! 11/4/12 UPDATE: As many people were asking about the specifics of my gym workout (in addition to the biking), I thought I'd just list them here. This is a routine I was doing (and am still doing) about twice a week; it takes me about 90 minutes. I had been doing this before the bike ride, too, but the muscle definition was far less clear (as you can see) when it was covered up by extra fat. dumbells: 1. shoulder presses (4 sets of 6) 2. lateral raises (4 sets of 6) 3. pullups, narrow grip (4 sets of 6) 4. lat pulldowns, wide grip (4 sets of 6) roman chair: 5. side to side leg sweeps (great for obliques) (4 sets of 12) 6. leg side lifts (4 sets of 12) cable cross: 7. cross body (high to low) (4 sets of 12, 6 on each side per set) olympic rack: 8. squats (4 sets of 6) curled barbell: 9. standing curls (4 sets of 6) Chest press machine: 10. chest presses (4 sets of 6) Deltoid raise machine: 11. deltoid raises (4 sets of 6)
