I finally got to shoot the 1911 for the first time!! The American gun!! My buddy stopped by and brought his Ruger SR 1911. I love it...it is heavy enough that it didn't have too much recoil but light enough to hold easily and I love the trigger that is unique to the 1911. I wasn't 100% accurate as I need to get used to shooting this gun. I should have started off a little closer to the target!!
