In this segment, Glen Sonmor sits down with Minnesota Hockey Magazine.com to discuss his first years coaching at the University of Minnesota as hockey legend John Marriucci opens the door for Glen to be his assistant at the U of M coaching the freshman team. Glen then gets a call from another legend, Eddie Shore, who asks Glen to coach for him out East. Glen survives the year coaching with the difficult Shore, and then goes to his hometown of Hamilton Ontario to coach for several years at the High School. Glen then gets recruited and becomes the head coach for the Golden Gophers.
